What you will be doing:

• Requirements gathering and documentation, translating client needs into functional specifications.
• Collaboration with development and QA teams to design scalable solutions and define test cases.
• Feature backlog grooming and prioritization, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
• Acting as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert to clients and internal teams.
• Pre-sales and revenue retention support by identifying value-driven enhancements.
• Effective communication and expectation management across all stakeholders.
• Overseeing peer reviews and ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Risk identification and mitigation in solution implementation.
• Maintaining domain and system architecture knowledge.
• Providing thought leadership on best practices for business analysis within financial services.
• Working across multiple applications and business units to ensure cohesive solutions.
• Mentoring and coaching other analysts, and providing line management support.
• Supporting BA recruitment and onboarding.
• Contributing to goal-setting, process improvement, and toolset development.
• Championing and improving best practices, methodologies, and frameworks for business analysis.

• 5+ years leading / mentoring teams and working in financial services, preferably in business analysis or solution delivery.
• Experience in project teams, building solutions, and working across multiple business applications and domains.
• Track record as a lead analyst on projects, using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements, and expertise in requirement gathering, user story writing, and feature prioritization.
• Capable of independent work to a high standard.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience managing senior stakeholder relationships and influencing decisions.
• Ability to work effectively in a distributed team.
