This role is within the real time integration team and will have responsibility for Integration analysis across all the processes and systems within Rand Merchant Bank (RMB). This will require an overall understanding of bank wide processes, systems, information requirements and flows and functional system requirements.

To design, specify, build, configure and test solutions for delivering the necessary capability to business that enables quality solutions and a client centric orientation These include pricing and risk management solutions along with their related IT processes
Are you someone who can:

  • Update and align the to-be processes as Integrations changes;
  • Support the Integration Architecture and conforms to the RMB Architecture standards;
  • Document the end-to-end Integration flows with reference to existing documentation generated to date i.e. capture the activities performed in a business process, inputs, outputs and resources used for those activities, including performance measures;
  • Ensure projects within the Integration architecture are aligned and delivered to achieve the to-be architecture. Following same definitions, business rules etc.;
  • Apply and influence the use of Integration Architecture guidelines to ensure consistent and high-quality business requirements/functional/process specifications for all solutions
  • Build and maintain professional working relationships with all stakeholders displaying excellent abilities to initiate dialogue listen advise influence and negotiate to achieve win-win outcomes
  • Initiate meetings with key stakeholders to track progress manage expectations and ensure stakeholders requirements are delivered
  • Preserve relationships despite airing conflicting views and seeks mutual gains when addressing conflicts
  • Anticipate consequences and adapts problem solving based on continual feedback
  • Act speedily to resolve problems queries and complaints
  • Adapt communication styles to meet the needs of different audiences
  • Facilitate one-on-one or group workshops to elicit analyse communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes and policies and where relevant IT systems
  • Analyse dashboard statistics daily, weekly and monthly to improve productivity
  • Collate data and submit reports as required
  • Follow up to ensure flagged issues are resolved and closed-out
  • Utilise data to improve efficiency and reduce errors
  • Continually identify opportunities to enhance reporting efficiencies
  • Demonstrate urgency and initiative in handling and resolving queries
  • Follow correct escalation processes in handling client complaints
  • Follow through to ensure queries are promptly and efficiently resolved

You will be the ideal candidate if you have:
  • Relevant Degree
  • 4-5 years experience as a Business Analyst within integration
  • 5 - 10 years demonstrated practical experience in major projects / areas with relevant exposure to Integration in Investment Banking.
  • An in-depth understanding of Integration principles, concepts, patterns and architectures.
  • Accustomed to use rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions, being able to understand the origin and reasoning behind key processes and practices.
  • Experience facilitating and driving the conceptualization of business solutions and have the highest standards of quality for the provision of business architecture and testing services.
  • Strong project and process management orientation, analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Have some understanding of technical, physical and systems architecture, technologies, databases, operating systems and development languages.
  • Extensive Agile methodology experience
