A Financial Services corporation is seeking a Junior Business Analyst on a Permanent basis in Constantia, Cape Town.

• Applicants should be South African Citizens
• Applicants should already be living in Cape Town, and have the ability to work in Constantia, Southern Suburbs (Cape Town)
• Applicants should be comfortable with an in-office and Hybrid environment (~3 days in office per week, Constantia)

Position Overview:

The Junior Business Analyst will be involved in the Technical aspects of development, configuration and support of various IT business systems.

You'll need to have a passion for the more Technical side of Business Analysis

You'll have a strong focus on Business Systems and System Performance, whilst enjoying working on problems that have a solution based in accounting and mathematics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Business Requirement Specifications (BRS's, BRD's, etc.)
• Develop Business Process Documents
• Contribute to System Design
• Develop Functional and Technical Specifications
• Develop System Integration Specifications at the Data level (SQL Programming)
• Analyse and test systems as part of investigations and system changes/upgrades

Minimum Requirements:

• Completed Degree in Data, Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting or related IT/Engineering Qualification(s)
• 3 years’ total experience in Business Analysis / Systems Analysis
• Financial & Data Analysis skills
• Exposure to Programming and/or Scripting - preferably SQL

Salary:

• R450 000 CTC Per Year + discretionary Performance Bonus (not guaranteed)
