Investec Sandton is looking for a Business Analyst for the One Place team within CXT. The role involves project and business-as-usual deliverables, resolving user issues and requests, and maintaining systems and interfaces. The successful candidate will build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, subject matter experts, project managers, and team members, driving solutions that meet or exceed expectations and align with business strategies.

Experience, Skills, and Capabilities

• Independent and original thinking to solve complex issues involving multiple systems, clients, and technologies.
• High-level business case development and solution design, including Functional Requirements Specifications, within standards.
• Deliver cost-effective, user-friendly, innovative solutions through business process re-engineering, systems, and technology.
• Participate in the full SDLC, including post-implementation activities, documentation, and creating clear acceptance criteria.
• Ensure processes, business rules, data requirements, and project administration are accurately documented.
• Ensure solutions meet changing business requirements in functionality, capacity, and reliability.
• Deliver projects/SMIs meeting business needs, measurable through business cases, adhering to architecture principles.
• Provide regular feedback to teams and stakeholders, sharing knowledge effectively.
• Support client incidents, troubleshoot issues, coordinate with teams, and maintain high customer service standards.

Additional Responsibilities:

• UAT for development tasks.
• Foster stakeholder communication.
• Drive Agile Scrum practices within the team.
• Facilitate prioritization, backlog management, and governance adherence.
• Lead team ceremonies like stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos.
• Compile project dashboards and delivery stats.
• Manage capacity and work allocation, especially in the mobile space.

• Mentor junior team members and coach in self-organization.
• Assist with capacity planning and understanding of application components.

Qualifications and Experience

• 3+ years of business analyst experience in an IT software development environment.
• Experience with cloud solutions and SaaS is advantageous.
