We've made significant investments in cutting-edge technologies like Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and Oracle APEX to enhance data-driven decision-making and streamline our business operations.We're looking for a dynamic, inquisitive, and highly collaborative Business Analyst to join our Business Intelligence Team – someone who thrives in the space between business and technical teams and is passionate about unlocking the full potential of data and analytics across the organisation.Job PurposeThe Business Analyst – BI will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, with a strong focus on Oracle's analytics and application tools.

This person will work closely with stakeholders across the business to uncover, understand, and translate requirements into clear and actionable deliverables for developers.This role requires someone with excellent probing and facilitation skills, a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to unlock business value through smart, scalable, and impactful BI solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesEngage with business users to gather, probe, and refine requirements, ensuring clear understanding of goals and challenges.Translate business needs into detailed, actionable technical specifications and user stories for BI developers.Work closely with developers to ensure requirements are fully understood, feasible, and aligned to technical capabilities.Facilitate workshops, interviews, and process reviews to surface key insights and opportunities.Support the design and development of dashboards, reports, and data solutions using Oracle Analytics Cloud and Oracle APEX.Champion the effective use of BI tools and data assets, helping business users unlock insights and drive action.Collaborate with QA and business teams to validate delivered solutions against business needs.Act as a trusted advisor to the business on BI best practices and data-driven decision making.Skills & Experience Required3+ years' experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within a BI, Data, or Analytics environment.Exceptional requirement gathering, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.Proven ability to translate business problems into clear technical specifications.Strong working knowledge of BI tools, dashboards, reporting, and data structures.Experience working with or exposure to Oracle Analytics Cloud and / or Oracle APEX highly advantageous.Understanding of data modelling, visualisation best practices, and system integrations.Excellent communication skills – able to navigate both business and technical conversations with ease.Curious, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to ask the right questions and challenge assumptionsfortable working in Agile / Scrum environments and managing backlogs.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Analysis, Computer Science, or related field.Certification in Business Analysis (e.g.

CBAP, PMI-PBA) is a plus.Familiarity with retail or supply chain environments will be advantageous.
