Business Analyst

Our client is looking for a Business Analyst with financial services experience to work closely with their development team on a crucial integration project.

This is a 12-month contract, fully onsite at their Sandton offices.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
2. Translate business needs into clear and concise functional requirements.
3. Conduct gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current trading systems and the new compliance platform.
4. Map and document data flows and system interactions.
5. Work with developers and technical teams to ensure requirements are understood and followed during integration.
6. Ensure requirements align with the company's compliance policies and regulatory standards.
7. Support testing efforts by defining acceptance criteria and participating in UAT.
8. Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the integration process.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within financial services or trading sector.
• Capital markets experience is required.
• Proven experience in requirements gathering and documentation.
• Familiarity with trading systems and compliance platforms, especially in capital markets.
• Strong analytical skills to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with integration projects or similar initiatives is preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements in trading or financial services industry.
