What you will be doing :

1. Analysing and comprehending each functional area in depth.
2. Collaborating with diverse team members to understand and resolve issues related to each functional area.
3. Interpreting supporting code of functional areas at a high level.
4. Demonstrating functional area capabilities to the team.
5. Taking responsibility for configuration management.
6. Evaluating tasks that imply changes to the business function, require new setup, or potentially affect upstream / downstream components.
7. This includes :
8. Reviewing bug fixes to ensure that processes operate as intended.
9. Examining and approving the Architectural Specification Document for the enhanced / fixed module.
10. Working closely with team members to identify new business requirements and design business solutions.
11. Preparing Solution Design documents for identified gaps in the current offering based on client-received business requirements.
12. Identifying potential roadmap items to improve the solution for future development.
13. Keeping up with industry regulations, advancements, trends, etc.
14. Delivering business / insurance training (Train the Trainer).
15. Training and providing support to team members on functionality and configuration.
16. Collaborating with the client Product Owner as a stakeholder.
17. Collaborating with Testers (internal and client) and regression teams.
18. Facilitating consultations with various team members to ensure that the client takes ownership of their issues.

What our client is looking for :

1. A relevant tertiary degree would be beneficial (e.g., BEng Industrial Engineering).
2. Previous experience in a similar position.
3. Proficiency in composing requirement specifications for information systems.
4. Ability to possess the end-to-end of the development lifecycle, including testing and training.
5. Familiarity with UML terminology, particularly in relation to use-cases and activity diagrams.
6. Demonstrated expertise in interacting directly with end-users.
