The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technology, ensuring the successful delivery of financial projects by gathering requirements, analysing data, and collaborating with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with finance, marketing, operations, and HR to document business requirements for company-wide projects.
  2. Conduct data analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvements.
  3. Assist in developing and implementing financial systems, reporting tools, and process automation.
  4. Create reports, dashboards, and presentations to support decision-making.
  5. Support project planning, budgeting, and tracking to ensure timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
  6. Work with stakeholders to define and document financial workflows, policies, and procedures.
  7. Develop automated dashboards and tools to monitor and measure core business Key Performance Indicators.
  8. Liaise with the executive team to highlight areas where KPIs, project timelines, and core metrics are not being met, and develop actionable plans to address these issues.
  9. Assist in risk management, compliance, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  10. Communicate project updates and insights to senior management and key stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in business analysis, financial operations, or project management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data.
  • Proficiency in Excel, financial modelling, and data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Experience in preparing presentations and presenting to the executive team.
  • Experience with financial systems (Xero or similar) is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of relevant work experience.
  • A degree in finance or business, with certification in Business Analysis, Business Administration, or Project Management.
  • Experience in a consulting environment is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, or other data analysis tools is a plus.
