Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with finance, marketing, operations, and HR to document business requirements for company-wide projects.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Assist in developing and implementing financial systems, reporting tools, and process automation.
- Create reports, dashboards, and presentations to support decision-making.
- Support project planning, budgeting, and tracking to ensure timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
- Work with stakeholders to define and document financial workflows, policies, and procedures.
- Develop automated dashboards and tools to monitor and measure core business Key Performance Indicators.
- Liaise with the executive team to highlight areas where KPIs, project timelines, and core metrics are not being met, and develop actionable plans to address these issues.
- Assist in risk management, compliance, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Communicate project updates and insights to senior management and key stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in business analysis, financial operations, or project management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data.
- Proficiency in Excel, financial modelling, and data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- Experience in preparing presentations and presenting to the executive team.
- Experience with financial systems (Xero or similar) is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1–3 years of relevant work experience.
- A degree in finance or business, with certification in Business Analysis, Business Administration, or Project Management.
- Experience in a consulting environment is a plus.
- Knowledge of SQL, Python, or other data analysis tools is a plus.
