We are looking for a Business Analyst with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a Business Analysis role, of which at least 3 years must be in the financial services industry, including long-term insurance, investments, wealth management, healthcare administration, or employee benefits.
Technical skills will be an added advantage.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Work with the relevant Delivery Manager and Client to elicit accurate and comprehensive product roadmap/backlog requirements.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to analyze client requirements, determine scope and effort, support the client commercial engagement, complete modelling, and provide input for business cases, product demonstrations, and sales support.
- Conduct business requirements analysis by working closely with stakeholders to clarify objectives, needs, and opportunities, including stakeholder and competitor analysis.
- Review, validate, and develop user stories; apply relevant data analysis techniques.
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and design workshops to extract information from stakeholders.
- Work with Delivery Manager, Client, and developers to elicit functional and non-functional requirements.
- Translate business needs into detailed requirements specifications for architects, developers, and testers.
- Participate in planning, mapping customer requirements to system functionality, and identifying gaps.
- Analyze and redesign business processes, including data flow understanding, and prepare user stories and mock-ups for new services or enhancements.
- Create functional requirements specifications and manage requirements traceability.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for development, including documentation for UAT and production.
- Assist in internal and user acceptance testing, reviewing test scenarios and plans, and validating delivered functionality.
- Support the creation of UAT test plans, provide sign-off on features, and facilitate transition to support.
- Develop training materials, deliver training, and review user guides post-implementation.
- Participate in Post Implementation Review sessions.
Business Analysis Competence Role
