Job Specification: Business Analyst – L2D (Liberty 2 Degrees)

Overview: We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our Property Management team, adept in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

The ideal candidate will excel in user story writing, demonstrate exceptional stakeholder management skills, and possess strong written and verbal communication abilities.

While a qualification is advantageous, extensive practical experience in a similar role is paramount.

Responsibilities:
  1. Requirements Gathering: Collaborate closely with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, specify, and validate business requirements.
  2. User Story Development: Create and maintain clear, concise user stories and acceptance criteria that align with business goals and user needs.
  3. Process Mapping: Document current and future state business processes using appropriate methods and tools.
  4. Methodology Adaptation: Facilitate Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies as per project requirements.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement: Manage relationships with stakeholders across various levels, ensuring their needs and expectations are understood and met.
  6. Communication: Effectively communicate project status, issues, and risks to project teams and stakeholders through written reports and presentations.
  7. Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA teams to ensure delivered solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements.
  8. Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend solutions based on industry best practices.
Requirements:
  1. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst in a property management or related field.
  2. Methodologies: Proficiency in Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall methodologies, with the ability to adapt approach as per project needs.
  3. User Story Writing: Strong expertise in writing clear, concise user stories and acceptance criteria.
