Business Analyst

We are looking for a Business Analyst with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a Business Analysis role, of which a minimum of 3 years must be in the financial services industry, long-term insurance, investments, wealth management, healthcare administration, or employee benefits. Any technical skills will be an added benefit.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Work with the relevant Delivery Manager and Client to elicit accurate and comprehensive product roadmap/backlog requirements.
2. Analyze client requirements to determine scope and effort in support of the client commercial engagement.
3. Complete modeling, including providing Product Manager with input to business case; conduct product demonstrations and provide sales support.
4. Work closely with external and internal stakeholders to analyze their objectives and clarify stakeholder needs or problem/opportunity statements.
5. Undertake stakeholder and competitor analysis.
6. Facilitate requirements analysis/discovery sessions and design workshops to discover information related to the process or requirements from business stakeholders.
7. Analyze and translate business requirements from clients into business requirements specifications used by architects, developers, and testers.
8. Participate in the planning and prioritization of project scope requirements with stakeholders.
9. Map customer requirements to existing system functionality and identify any gaps.
10. Examine existing and/or create new business processes including understanding data flows; prepare user stories and prototype mock-ups for new services and enhancements.
11. Create functional requirements specifications and manage requirements through proven traceability matrices and models.
12. Assist the tester(s) with the translation of business requirements documentation into relevant test scenarios and test cases.
13. Promote the quality of delivery by validating and verifying that the delivered functionality meets the requirements.
14. Develop training materials and deliver training to relevant user community (internal and/or external stakeholders).
15. Participate in Post Implementation Review sessions.
16. Develop, implement, and manage analysis methodology (templates, processes, standards) and provide leadership and support to other Business Analysts and team members.
