Business Analyst (Pinelands, Cape Town)

Intelligent Debt Management (IDM Group) has an exciting vacancy available for a Business Analyst.

The business analyst's main role is to bridge the gap between business operations and technology and translate business requirements into technical requirements.

The BA will work closely with relevant business stakeholders and various tech teams, assisting project managers in understanding business objectives and how processes and technology can deliver on them.

The BA will actively seek efficiencies in the business by identifying processes that can be effectively automated.

Responsibilities:

1. Engage with relevant business stakeholders, vendors, and tech teams at all levels.
2. Review business processes to understand how technology is used and identify gaps.
3. Assist the business in identifying causes of inefficiencies to find the actual problem and solution.
4. Help project managers and product owners gather and translate business requirements for vendors and internal dev teams.
5. Assist in determining which business processes to automate and collaborate with vendors and tech teams to implement solutions.

Requirements:

• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in business analysis.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Good understanding of data models and data analytics.
