Job summary

Curro Northern Academy in Polokwane seeks a Bursar to oversee school finances, budgeting and financial reporting. The role supports the executive head and regional accountant, ensuring accurate cash flow, debtors management and contract controls.

You will assist at school functions when required and contribute to sound financial stewardship across the campus. The ideal candidate has a degree in accounting with at least five years’ relevant experience, including administration and payroll

Qualifications

• At least a B degree or equivalent (three years), preferably with a major in accounting.
• Five years’ relevant experience, including experience in a financial role or as a bursar.
• Experience in accounting, cash flow management, debtors’ management and contract management (financial element).
• Experience in administration and payroll management.
• Excellent planning, organisational and administrative skills.
