Join us to apply for the Burger King Shift Leader role at GPS Hospitality. We need a Shift Leader to join our restaurant team.

Shift Leaders are trained to perform all the duties of Team Members, with additional responsibility for directing daily operations in the absence of the Restaurant General Manager and Assistant Manager.

This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas such as product preparation and delivery, customer relations, restaurant maintenance, team management, and other duties as required or assigned.

Job Duties

  1. Ensure your team provides outstanding service and satisfied guests.
  2. Train and coach the team.
  3. Utilize GPS Hospitality Systems to run a great restaurant every shift, every day.
  4. Set an example by maintaining excellent knowledge and proficiency in restaurant operations.
  5. Provide coaching and feedback to the team.
  6. Supervise in accordance with GPS values, traits, and behaviors.
  7. Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
  8. Follow and enforce all cash policies; address and document any violations.
  9. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Restaurant General Manager (RGM).

Job Requirements

  • 0-2 years of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail setting.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a high-volume setting.
  • Must be 18 years old and authorized to work in the US.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform motions such as bending, squatting, twisting, pulling, and reaching.
  • Ability to work in warm and cold temperatures.
  • Ability to stand for 8-10 hours.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
