Job Purpose

As a Specialist Recruiter / Interviewer, your primary responsibility will be to manage the end-to-end recruitment and selection process for key roles, ensuring we attract top-quality candidates who align with Nimble’s values and performance culture. You’ll be the first point of contact for many future Nimblians – making their experience exceptional is your superpower.

Key Performance Areas

Talent Acquisition & Interviewing

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements, team dynamics, and success profiles.
  • Build and execute targeted sourcing strategies (job boards, social media, referrals, direct outreach).
  • Screen CVs to match candidate profiles to job specs with a critical eye
  • Conduct structured interviews (telephonic, virtual, in-person) to assess skills, cultural fit, and values alignment.
  • Present shortlists with clear interview notes and recommendations.
  • Coordinate interview schedules and manage the full recruitment lifecycle.

Candidate Experience & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Ensure a seamless and engaging candidate experience from application to offer.
  • Provide consistent updates to candidates and hiring teams.
  • Support offer negotiations, background checks, and handovers to onboarding.

Process Improvement & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records on the ATS.
  • Use hiring metrics to evaluate success and identify improvement areas.
  • Suggest and implement enhancements to the recruitment process.

What You Need

Education & Qualifications

  • National Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Industrial Psychology, or related field (advantageous).
  • Certification in Interviewing or Talent Acquisition (beneficial).

Experience

  • 3–5 years’ recruitment experience (in-house or agency), ideally for high-volume roles.
  • Hands-on experience with competency-based interviews and recruitment tools.

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to assess profiles critically and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
  • ATS and sourcing platform proficiency (LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.).
  • High integrity, confidentiality, and ethical conduct.
