Job summary

Arup is expanding its agile, digitally enabled Building Services capability in South Africa. You will contribute to designing and delivering high-quality engineering solutions across sectors such as healthcare, data centres, and commercial developments.

Qualifications

• A qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience working within consulting engineering, construction or the built environment sector.
• Strong technical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• A collaborative and solution-focused mindset.
• An interest in sustainability, innovation and digital engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver high-quality engineering solutions from concept through to detailed design, construction and project completion.
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders and fellow engineering professionals to develop innovative solutions.
• Support sustainable and Net Zero Carbon design initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor junior team members and help shape the future direction of projects and teams.
