We are seeking a results-driven Manager : Broker Services and Franchise to take ownership of our broker and franchise strategy, drive sustainable growth, and ensure excellence in operational support, compliance, and relationship management.
This strategic role requires a seasoned professional with deep expertise in insurance distribution, a strong understanding of regulatory requirements, and a proven ability to lead teams and execute business development plans.
Requirements
Develop and implement strategies to grow broker and franchise networks
Oversee onboarding, engagement, and performance of brokers and franchisees
Lead franchise development and expansion plans
Ensure full compliance with all regulatory and corporate governance standards
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth operational support
Mentor and manage a team of Broker Area Managers
Represent the business at industry events to promote the brand and drive recruitment
Build strong relationships with external stakeholders to support market growth
Candidate Profile
Relevant tertiary qualification (Business, Marketing, Insurance, or related field)
FAIS compliant and registered as a Key Individual with the FSCA
RE 1 certification
Minimum of 5 years experience in insurance management with a focus on brokers and franchise operations
Strong knowledge of insurance legislation and industry compliance standards
Proven leadership experience in managing teams and driving business growth
Demonstrated success in broker development, sales strategy, and client relationship management
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
Exceptional communication, planning, and analytical skills

Experience & Background
Proven experience in a business development or sales role, with a strong understanding of the sales process, client acquisition, and lead generation.
Experience in sales, business development, or similar fields is a plus.
