Job description

TWK Agri has the following vacancy available: Broker Manager (Short-Term Insurance) within the Financial Services division in Gauteng.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Lead, coach, and support a team of short-term insurance brokers
  • Set performance targets, monitor results, and provide regular feedback
  • Identify growth opportunities and drive new business development
  • Collaborate on sales strategies to acquire and retain clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurers
  • Oversee financial performance and commission structures
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies
  • Provide product knowledge, training, and support to brokers
  • Represent TWK Agri at industry events and networking opportunities


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Matric / Grade 12
  • RE5 certificate
  • RE1 certificate
  • FAIS accreditation as per the FSCA requirements
  • At least 5 years’ experience in the short-term Insurance industry
  • 3 years’ experience in a managerial role
  • Proven track record in broker management, business development and client relationship management (advantageous)
  • Experience in managing a portfolio of clients and leading a team of brokers (advantageous)
  • Proficient in MS Office suite
  • In-depth knowledge of short-term insurance products, regulations and market trends
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Bilingual (Afrikaans and English)
  • Valid Driver’s License (Code 08)
  • Willing to travel
