Role Purpose: To market and sell company products to individuals and corporate clients to ensure that sales targets are met.
Requirements:
- 2 - 3 years sales experience in a related industry
- 120 FAIS credits
- RE 5 / 1
Duties & Responsibilities:
Internal Process:
- Implement operational processes and policies for effective sales delivery.
- Develop sales targets in collaboration with the Sales Manager.
- Identify new sales opportunities and increase sales penetration.
- Monitor and implement tactics to generate new business by agencies and brokers.
- Monitor sales and drive achievement of targets.
- Ensure quality of business supplied by brokers and agencies.
- Take corrective actions to sustain policy retention and prospects for repeat business.
- Provide administrative support to brokers and agencies.
- Manage commission payments.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and implement tactics.
- Contribute to packaging material design and development.
- Monitor compliance to product standards.
- Handle and resolve broker and agent queries.
Client Service:
- Build and maintain client and stakeholder relationships.
- Participate in external networking and benchmarking.
- Define fair client service practices to build relationships and facilitate sales.
- Provide product and systems training.
- Ensure clear and accurate information is provided to clients, brokers, and agencies.
- Handle and resolve queries to promote business retention.
People:
- Contribute to a positive work climate.
- Demonstrate leadership and support organizational values.
- Manage performance of brokers and agencies.
Finance:
- Implement and review financial policies and procedures.
- Manage risk and ensure compliance.
- Investigate non-compliance issues.
