Job description

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up and maintain all audio and video equipment for live broadcasts, including cameras, microphones, lighting, and control systems onboard the cruise ship

- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide on-site support during broadcasts

- Collaborate with production team to ensure smooth operation and execution of live broadcasts

- Monitor and adjust audio and video levels to maintain quality and consistency during live broadcasts

- Maintain and organize broadcast equipment inventory

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in broadcast technology

- Assist in the development and implementation of new broadcast systems and processes

- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working at sea

Requirements:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Broadcast Technician

- Strong technical knowledge of audio and video equipment and systems

- Proficient in troubleshooting technical issues and providing on-site support

- Experience working in a live broadcast environment

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment

- Flexibility to work irregular hours and travel for extended periods of time

- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in a maritime setting is a plus
