Are you ready to join a team that dreams as big as you do? The key purpose of this role is to assist with management and handling of the raw materials used in the brewing process to achieve minimal variability in product quality and maximum throughput whilst minimizing waste.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Overview of the Brewing process operation
2. Raw materials planning and handling
3. Maintain safe and healthy work environment
4. Execution of 5S and ownership of ATOM
5. Monitoring process performance and quality
6. Optimize Plant & Process Performance where appropriate
7. Performing housekeeping tasks, applying 5S principles and following safe work practices
8. Identify and correct unsafe work practices
9. Support the creation (drafting and documenting) of standard work procedures (including quick fix routines and problems)
10. Apply problem-solving techniques where quality problems arise
11. Escalate identified or unresolved problems to BAM
12. Actively participate in meetings and goal reviews
13. Utilize the gap list to record issues, problems and improvement opportunities
14. Complete required handover to incoming shift team members, ensuring the issues relating to plant performance, quality
15. Complete autonomous maintenance tasks and problem-solving activities
16. Respond rapidly to upstream or downstream triggers that could result in out-of-control process situations
17. Be a logical, analytical problem solver who can operate in an unstructured environment
18. Demonstrate initiative and energy
19. Be available to work flexible hours (outside of normal office hours and sometimes over the weekends) to meet production needs

Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 Matric Certificate / Higher certificate

Ability to work shifts
