Job summary

SAB in Gauteng is seeking a maintenance technician to maintain, repair and optimise plant and devices to maximise availability and quality at minimum cost. You will work in the brewing process, train operators, and handle standby duties; a strong safety culture and teamwork are essential.

Minimum N4 technical qualification with a Trade Test and Electrical/Millwright skills are required; packaging experience and post-trade exposure are advantageous. SAB promotes equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Minimum N4 technical qualification or higher.
• Trade Test qualification required.
• Electrical/Millwright specialization.
• Experience in Packaging is advantageous.
• 2+ years post-trade experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, healthy working environment.
• Perform maintenance on plant and devices.
• Maintain and repair plant and associated devices.
• Operate and maintain machines in the brewing process.
• Optimise plant, process equipment and systems.
• Ensure maintenance tasks are completed on time.
• Standby duty as per roster.
• Communicate technical knowledge to team.
• Train, coach, and mentor operators.
