Job summary

Freddy Hirsch in Cape Town is seeking a creative Social Media Coordinator to strengthen our online presence across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok. You will plan content calendars, produce engaging posts and coordinate campaigns that showcase our products, people and expertise.

Collaborate with Marketing and design teams to brief campaigns, capture product and event content, monitor channels, respond to inquiries and analyse performance to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in social media coordination or digital marketing.
• Portfolio showcasing previous social media or content creation work.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and maintain social media content calendars aligned with marketing objectives and brand guidelines.
• Create, coordinate, schedule and publish engaging content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok.
• Develop compelling copy, captions, stories, reels and short-form video content.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team and designers to brief and coordinate creative content, campaigns, product launches and promotions.
• Capture and coordinate photography and video content featuring products, people, events and company activities.
• Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and elevate customer enquiries where required.
• Research industry developments, audience insights and social media trends to identify opportunities to improve engagement and reach.
• Monitor campaign performance, analyse social media metrics and compile reports with recommendations for improvement.
• Ensure consistent brand messaging, visual identity and quality across all digital platforms.
• Support influencer collaborations, competitions, promotional activities and other digital marketing initiatives as required.
