Job description

Our client in the property sector is looking for a Brand Manager in Student Accommodation. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing strategic business relationships with group media owners and other potential customers and internal stakeholders that support non-GLA. Identify brand partnership opportunities for revenue growth.

POSITION INFO :

Duties and responsibilities

  • Identify strategies to generate non-bed / GLA outdoor media, on-site activations, Wi-Fi advertising at the TSL residences.
  • Engage with corporate partners (financial services, technology / telecoms, media, etc.) and/or media agencies to originate partnerships that can generate non-bed revenue for TSL.
  • Research and develop a thorough understanding and capabilities of internal clients.
  • Submit monthly progress reports.
  • Identify external brands, including retailers, corporate companies, manufacturers, and drive and implement brand partnership opportunities for initiatives benefiting both partners and relevant assets.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 10 years of professional experience in the industry.
  • Degree.

  • Ability to work independently to pitch to internal and external customers.
  • Ability to manage large volumes of leases and report this data in an organized, efficient, and meaningful manner.
  • Ability to manage projects to ensure they are delivered to spec, within timelines and cost budget.
  • Ability to manage the periodic maintenance of all media and track the success thereof.
  • Ability to manage budgets and ensure forecasts are met.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Stakeholder focus: meeting the needs expectations and continually improve services.
  • Building and managing relationships.
  • Decision making by considering information available, identifying opportunities, and making timely decisions.

Brand partner skills

  • In-depth knowledge of aligned external brands.
  • Ability to maintain a database of brand contacts.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with external brand agencies and managers.
  • Ability to develop proposals for retailer / external brand partnerships.
  • Conceptualizing bespoke ideas aligned with stakeholder and Growthpoint objectives.
  • Experience in negotiating partnership contracts to achieve objectives.
  • Proficiency in market research / data analytics for customer profiling per asset.
