Purpose of the Job:
The Brand Manager is responsible for executing brand strategies, managing marketing campaigns, and driving brand growth. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure consistent brand messaging and effective communication with the target audience. The successful candidate will support the development of integrated brand plans and lead key initiatives aligned with the brand's positioning and purpose.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of consumer segmentation, demand spaces, and typologies to execute targeted marketing initiatives.
- Understand consumer needs, preferences, and behavior using tools like the monthly brand health tracker and bespoke studies.
- Gather insights from internal and external stakeholders, including consumers, customers, trade partners, and sales teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric brand experiences.
- Ensure brand strategies align with business objectives, maintaining consistent positioning, purpose, creative ideas, and messaging to build brand equity.
- Support the implementation of brand visual, tonal, and execution guidelines to ensure consistency across all channels.
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, market share, brand performance, and consumer perceptions, providing feedback to the team.
- Contribute to developing integrated TTL communication strategies across digital, social media, CRM, TV, radio, print, PR, influencer marketing, events, and experiences.
- Assist in executing ATL and BTL sponsorships, influencer and ambassador partnerships.
- Manage digital assets including the website, CRM, social channels, and community engagement.
- Support creative and media agencies in executing campaigns within a bottoms-up zero-based budgeting framework.
- Create and execute engaging, locally relevant TTL campaigns that resonate with the target audience.
- Implement integrated commercial plans to drive brand growth.
- Work with sales and trade marketing teams to align marketing activities with sales objectives.
- Execute marketing activities related to trade promotions and sales initiatives, monitoring performance and optimizing strategies.
- Assist in managing the brand budget and understanding the brand income statement to support profitability initiatives.
- Analyze marketing ROI and make data-driven decisions to optimize resource allocation, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Support management of brand A&P cost centers, including monthly reconciliations and reporting.
- Use segmentation, consumer insights, and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities.
- Collaborate with product development teams to implement future-fit products or variations.
- Contribute to creative concepts that improve business results and support pack upgrades to maintain relevance.
- Assist in market testing and analysis for new product concepts or innovations.
- Work with trade marketing and channel partners to develop targeted marketing initiatives, including trade promotions, in-store merchandising, and POS materials, ensuring consistency across channels.
- Leverage shopper research to understand consumer behavior in different sales channels.
- Coordinate tasks with ABMs and manage relationships with creative and media agencies.
- Engage with internal stakeholders across multiple departments, including global and regional marketing teams, sales, logistics, finance, legal, revenue management, supply, procurement, and corporate affairs.
