Job description

The Brand Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to build and manage the company's brand, ensuring its consistency across all marketing efforts and consumer touchpoints. This role involves overseeing the positioning, messaging, and development of marketing campaigns to strengthen the brand's presence in the market and drive customer loyalty. The Brand Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve brand goals and elevate the brand's identity.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Brand Strategy Development: Create and implement a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with the company's objectives and resonates with target audiences.
  2. Brand Positioning and Messaging: Define and refine the brand's positioning in the market, ensuring clear and consistent messaging across all platforms.
  3. Campaign Development: Plan, execute, and monitor integrated marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness, engage target audiences, and drive sales.
  4. Market Research and Consumer Insights: Conduct market research to gather insights about customer needs, preferences, and trends. Analyze competitor activities and industry developments to inform strategic decisions.
  5. Brand Consistency: Ensure that the brand identity, including visual elements, tone of voice, and messaging, is maintained consistently across all channels, including advertising, digital, print, and social media.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, sales, product development, and creative teams to ensure alignment between branding and product offerings.
  7. Product Launches: Lead and coordinate the development and execution of product launches, ensuring they are aligned with the brand's overall strategy.
  8. Performance Analysis: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of branding initiatives and adjust strategies as needed to maximize ROI.
  9. Budget Management: Manage the brand marketing budget, ensuring that funds are allocated effectively to achieve strategic goals and maximize brand growth.
  10. Brand Development: Continuously identify opportunities for brand growth, including exploring new markets, product extensions, and strategic partnerships.

Key Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA is a plus)
  2. 4+ years of experience in brand management, marketing, or a related role
  3. Strong understanding of brand strategy, market research, and consumer behavior
  4. Experience in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns
  5. Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  6. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  7. Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and brand management tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in digital marketing and social media strategy
  2. Knowledge of SEO/SEM, content marketing, and paid media
  3. Experience in a consumer-focused industry (e.g., retail, FMCG, technology)
  4. Analytical skills with experience in measuring and reporting on brand performance
