Job summary

Boardroom Appointments seeks a Brand Ambassador to support customers in the independent market for our products in the Cape Town area. You will educate retailers, supply marketing equipment, and handle inquiries and follow-ups to drive sales and renewals.

The role emphasizes building strong customer relationships, identifying opportunities, and delivering outstanding service across product ranges and channels.

Qualifications

• Customer care or marketing diploma/degree or relevant experience.
• At least 3 years' experience within customer care/sales/brand ambassador environments.
• Experienced with data, complaint and/or order capturing systems (Syspro, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Educate big box stores and independent retail customers on product ranges and product knowledge training in stores.
• Provide big box stores and independent retail customers with marketing equipment.
• Answer all incoming customer calls in a professional and efficient manner.
• Offer a variety of product-related solutions to clients.
• Ensure call cycles are attended to and visits occur within the cycle.
• Utilise inbound call opportunities to generate sales and renewals.
• Develop strong relationships with customers and demonstrate added value.
• Identify potential customer needs to grow the business.
• Conduct follow-up calls with interested customers.
• Respond to customer emails professionally.
• Support the Professional Services Group to assist customers and opportunities.
• Capture and report all complaints to customer care and production.
• Submit weekly sales activity reports.
• Set clear expectations with clients and meet them.
• Attend all product-training sessions.
• Comply with company procedures including OH&S.
• Contribute to ongoing process improvements.
• Ensure customers are respected and receive exceptional service during complaint lodging, with ongoing feedback.
