Job summary

Dante Personnel Recruitment (Pty) Ltd on behalf of a well-established law firm in Durban North is seeking an experienced Attorney with a background in Legal Recoveries and Collections to take responsibility for the day-to-day management and operations of the Durban branch.

The successful candidate must be admitted in South Africa, with 4+ years in recoveries/collections post-admission, and demonstrate strong leadership, organisational and court attendance capabilities.

Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney in South Africa.
• 4+ years' experience in Legal Recoveries and/or Collections post-admission.
• Strong understanding of legal processes and procedures.
• Previous management or leadership experience is advantageous.
• Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a team and take ownership of branch operations.
• Willingness to attend court when required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management and operations of the Durban branch.
• Lead and develop branch staff to achieve targets and compliance.
• Coordinate legal recoveries and collections processes within the branch.
• Attend court appearances as required to support cases and enforcement actions.
