Job summary

FirstRand Limited’s FNB Points of Presence in Johannesburg seeks a Branch External Sales and Service Advisor at the Northgate Branch. The role focuses on understanding client financial needs, offering suitable product solutions, and maintaining ongoing client relationships in a high-volume branch.

You will walk in to engage existing clients, provide compliant financial guidance, and aim to meet sales and service targets while upholding FAIS requirements and TCF principles.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of FAIS, TCF and client-centric advice principles.
• Proven ability to meet sales, service and compliance targets.
• 1–3 years of experience in customer-facing environments in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage long-term client relationships to support retention and growth.
• Provide a positive customer experience by being helpful and sensitive to transactional needs.
• Educate customers on the Banking platform aligned with their needs.
• Connect with customers by living up to the brand promise: how can we help you?
• Analyze customer data and provide financial advice aligned to goals and FAIS rules.
• Maintain accurate and complete client records and documentation.
• Achieve individual and branch sales and service targets.
• Conduct yourself in an ethical manner.

• Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge.
