You’ll be the behind-the-scenes hero who keeps our branch neat, tidy, and energised every day. Your responsibilities include:
Maintain cleanliness in all office spaces, bathrooms, and kitchen areas
Clean floors (sweep, mop, vacuum), windows, glass, furniture, and equipment
Clean bathrooms three times per day as per the cleaning roster
Regularly empty dustbins and ensure hygienic disposal
Keep the kitchen clean and organised at all times
Run the dishwasher three times daily to maintain hygiene
Refill tea, coffee, sugar and other essentials when canisters are low
Alert the Office Manager when stock levels need replenishment
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and good cleaning practices
Use chemical products and equipment responsibly to avoid damage or hazards
Monitor and report potential safety issues (e.g., faulty appliances)
Check in with internal team members to ensure cleaning needs are met
Attend weekly team meetings and monthly check-ins with your manager
Take pride in delivering exceptional service to your fellow Mukurians
Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential)
Previous cleaning experience (Desirable)
Knowledge of safe use of cleaning materials and equipment
Awareness of health and safety protocols
Good communication skills (spoken)
Excellent time management and organisation
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment
