Job summary

Howland Recruiting seeks a skilled Braider/Wig Installer for a brand new, start-up salon in Cape Town. You will braid, install wigs, colour and style hair, drawing on accredited qualifications and a passion for precision.

With strong communication and a professional, friendly appearance, you will help clients choose wigs, colours and lengths while maintaining a clean, compliant work environment and supporting stock control in a busy salon.

Qualifications

• Accredited qualification in hairdressing, braiding, wig installation.
• 2-3 years’ experience in hair care, e.g. styling, colouring, extensions and wig installations.
• Able to create neat and clean finishes.
• Professional, friendly and well-presented.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work quickly and efficiently.
• Perform braiding techniques, e.g. box braids, cornrows.
• Install and customise wigs with precision.
• Assist clients select suitable wigs, colours, lengths, etc.
• Maintain wig section.
• Assist with stock control.
• Maintain clean and sanitised work environment at all times.
• Retail products and other services.

Job description

Create stunning braids, install beautiful wigs and provide expert hair styling services at this brand new, start up salon in Cape Town as their Braider / Wig Installer. Your knowledge in hair care, extensions, colouring and styling coupled with the appropriate qualification will ensure success.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Saturday
• Closed on Sunday
