Job summary

FCS at the Parow Branch is seeking a security role to distribute and receive consignments and manage vault room duties. The position requires a clear criminal record, PSIRA Grade C (advantageous), and at least 1 year in the security field.

Night shifts, physical fitness, and strong communication are essential. Responsibilities include preparing vault duties, scheduling, scanning, balancing vaults, documentation, and locating consignments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for vault room duties.
• Plan vault room schedules with CIT.
• Receive and distribute consignments to and from CIT teams.
• Scan consignments and balance vaults.
• Lock up and maintain vault security.
• Sort consignments and handle documentation.
• Perform searching duties as required.

Reporting to the Branch Manager

The above position is vacant at our Parow Branch. The overall purpose of this position is to distribute and receive consignments.

Minimum Requirements:

• Clear criminal record
• PSIRA accredited with a minimum Grade C qualification is advantageous
• At least 1 years’ experience in security industry or similar role
• Computer literate (compulsory)
• Possess excellent communication skills
• Must be able to work at night
• Able to work under pressure
• Physically fit
