Job summary

Colbyn, Pretoria Moot is seeking a Finance Manager/Bookkeeper to manage full bookkeeping to Trial Balance for an automotive accessories company. The role requires accuracy, reliability, and the ability to work independently, with duties including payroll, creditors, debtors, and cashbook reconciliations.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years' bookkeeping experience, be bilingual in Afrikaans and English, and reside within daily commuting distance of Colbyn.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Afrikaans and English (both spoken and written).
• Minimum 5 years recent experience in bookkeeping up to Trial Balance including debtors, creditors, payroll, cashbook and reconciliations.
• Independent and fully functional with strong reliability and accountability.
• Residing within daily commuting distance from Colbyn; clear references.

Responsibilities

• Manage financials and full bookkeeping to Trial Balance for the company.
• Oversee debtors & creditors control.
• Process salaries, EMP201 and UIF submissions.
• Cashbook allocations and reconciliations; general financial duties.
• Office management and financial administration.

Colbyn, Pretoria Moot: FINANCE MANAGER/BOOKKEEPER

Minimum Requirements

• Reliable and accountable (No pensioners/retirees)
• Afrikaans and English first and second languages a must (Full proficiency in both)
• Minimum 5 years recent experience in Bookkeeping to Trial Balance a must (including Debtors & Creditors, payroll, cashbook and reconciliations)
• Full independently functional
• Computer literate and fully proficient in Pastel Partner & Payroll Professional a must
• Clear Criminal record
• No lawful termination at any previous employer due to misconduct or non-performance
• Residing within daily commuting distance from Colbyn
• Stable employment record and contactable References a must
• To start as soon as possible, preferably immediately

Work hours: Mondays to Thursdays 8am – 5pm and Fridays 8am-4pm

Duties

• Financial management and full Bookkeeping to Trial Balance function for automotive accessories company
• Debtors & Creditors control
• Payment of salaries, EMP201 and UIF submissions
• Cashbook allocation and reconciliations
• General bookkeeping & financial duties, including financial administration
• Office management

Salary: R 25 000 – R 30 000 gross maximum
