A leading company in the mining and construction industry based in Midrand are looking to recruit a Bookkeeper / Accountant / PA to join their team.
Duties & Responsibilities
Personal Assistance to Management
Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements
Handle confidential correspondence and prepare reports or presentations
Bookkeeping and Financial Records
Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software (e.g., Sage / Pastel)
Process invoices, payments, and manage accounts payable / receivable
Payroll and Compliance Support
Prepare monthly payroll and ensure statutory compliance (UIF, PAYE, etc.)
Assist with VAT submissions and liaise with accountants / auditors
Office Administration
Order office supplies, manage filing systems, and handle general admin tasks
Support internal teams with documentation and day-to-day operations
Supplier and Client Liaison
Communicate with suppliers and clients regarding payments and queries
Reconcile supplier statements and follow up on outstanding items
