Job summary

Exceed Human Resource Consultants seeks an experienced Bookkeeper in Cape Town to manage the full bookkeeping function up to trial balance. You will reconcile general ledger accounts, handle accounts payable and receivable, and process bank reconciliations and payments.

The role requires at least 5 years of bookkeeping experience and proficiency in Xero, Pastel, Sage or QuickBooks, plus strong Excel skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years bookkeeping experience, with at least 2 years in a similar role.
• Proficient in accounting software such as Xero, Pastel, Sage or QuickBooks.
• Strong MS Excel skills and accuracy in recording transactions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work independently and in a team.
