Job summary

FROGG Recruitment SA is seeking a skilled senior bookkeeper to oversee bookkeeping for three entities in Stellenbosch. You will manage accounts up to trial balance on Xero, handle debtors/creditors, reconcile payments, and address queries via communications channels. SARS eFiling experience is required.

Salary ranges from R30,000 to R40,000 per month depending on experience. This is a permanent, office-based role with responsibility for multi-entity financial operations and payroll support for

Qualifications

• Matric with Certificate, Diploma or Accounting, Financial Management or Business Management Degree
• 3-5 years Bookkeeping up to Trial balance on Xero
• Large batch invoicing experience
• E-filing experience
• Microsoft Office Suite including OneDrive

Responsibilities

• Do Bookkeeping up to Trial Balance on XERO
• Work with outsourced accountants/auditors
• Assist with Payroll of 18 staff
• Efiling duties as needed
• Full Debtors and Creditors
• Manage payment reconciliation for 3 companies
• Processing bulk uploads and supporting a weekly invoicing cycle for large client base
• Batch payment schedules and reconciliations for our corporate clients
• Client file creation and closing such as creating a Xero profile, adding onboarding information, creating invoices, adding payment schedules
• Inter-company transfers and account management

Our client in the Stellenbosch Area seeks a highly skilled and strategic bookkeeper/senior bookkeeper to oversee the bookkeeping and financial operations of the 3 entities. You will be responsible for bookkeeping up to the trial balance on XERO Accounting. You will be doing bookkeeping on all accounts, debtors and creditors, reconciliation of payments, sending out statements and addressing accounting queries received through the communication channels. You will also need SARS Efiling experience.

Salary: R30 000 – R40 000 (All depends on experience)
