Job summary

Craig & Sons Bus Services is seeking a highly competent, experienced Bookkeeper to manage the company’s financial records and day-to-day books in Paarl. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently while delivering accurate information to management and the Director.

Craig & Sons Bus Services is seeking a highly competent, experienced and qualified Bookkeeper to take responsibility for the accurate and efficient management of the company's financial records and day-to-day bookkeeping functions.

We are looking for an individual with strong attention to detail, excellent financial administration skills and the ability to work independently while providing accurate and timely financial information to management and the Director.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Grade 12 / Senior Certificate
• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Financial Management, Bookkeeping or a related field
• National Diploma/BCom Accounting or equivalent qualification will be advantageous
• Recognised bookkeeping/accounting qualification
• Membership of a recognised professional accounting body will be advantageous, such as SAIBA, ICB, SAICA or CIMA
• A minimum of 5 years' relevant bookkeeping/accounting experience
• Experience in a transport, logistics, fleet or service environment will be advantageous
