About the Role

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Bookkeeper to join our cleint. The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This role requires someone detail-oriented, trustworthy, and capable of handling confidential information while working in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Record Management:
    • Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
    • Reconcile bank statements, cash accounts, and company credit cards.
  • Payroll Administration:
    • Process payroll, ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
    • Handle deductions, benefits, and leave balances.
  • Invoicing and Billing:
    • Prepare and issue client invoices promptly.
    • Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on collections.
  • Tax Compliance:
    • Prepare VAT submissions and other tax-related documentation.
    • Assist with annual audits and tax returns.
  • Reporting:
    • Generate monthly financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
    • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents.
    • Assist with budget preparation and monitoring.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Education:
    • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably within the security or services industry.
    • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero).
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
    • Knowledge of payroll and tax regulations.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Key Requirements
  • Valid driver's license (if required for bank or client visits).
  • Clear criminal record for handling sensitive financial information.
