Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in a similar position in a manufacturing environment.
• Degree in Financial Accounting or similar required.

Job description

The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following duties and responsibilities for our group of companies :

• Bookkeeping up to balance sheet (Cashbook processing and journals)
• Bank reconciliations.
• GL recons for all balance sheet accounts
• Managing logbooks for company fleet / vehicles
• Monthly VAT201 and EMP201 reconciliation and submission
• Yearend closure and assistance in preparing the annual audit files.
• Creditor’s function, including monthly credit run.
• Capturing of purchase orders
• All other financial and administrative duties related to this position.

Requirements

Essential qualifications, skills, and experience :

• Degree / Diploma in Financial Accounting (BAcc / Com / BCompt) or similar
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position in a manufacturing environment
• Bookkeeping up to financial Statements
• Deadline Driven
