Job summary

Kempe Engineering is seeking an experienced Boilermaker to join our Western Australian-based teams, delivering quality repairs and installations on fixed plant equipment and workshop repairables. The role requires strong welding skills and a willingness to work in remote regions.

Applicants should hold recognised Boilermaking qualifications, have at least 5 years post-trade experience in heavy industry or mining, and possess leadership capabilities along with pre-employment medical clearance.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Boilermaking/Fabrication with apprenticeship completed.
• Minimum 5 years’ post-trade experience on heavy industry/mining sites.
• Welding expertise across SMAW, GMAW, GTAW and Flux Core (Fux Core).
• Willingness to work and live in remote regions.
• Certificates in EWP, Safe Work at Heights, Forklift, Confined Space preferred.
• Ability to read drawings with attention to detail.
• Leadership experience and ability to pass pre-employment medical.
• Current driver license for your residence country.

We are seeking experienced Boilermaker to join teams based in Western Australian branches teams to deliver quality repairs and installations to all various types of fixed plant equipment and workshop repairable.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Recognized trade qualifications in Boilermaking / Fabrication having completed an apprenticeship
• Minimum of 5 years’ post trade experience working on sites either heavy industry or mining
• Efficient in all facets of welding (SMAW, GMWA, GTAW and Fux Core)
• Meet ZERO Harm culture and behaviors
• Heavy Industry (mining, structural, shutdowns)
• Maybe required to work and live in remote regions
• Elevated Work Platform, Safe Work at Heights, Forklift & Confined space certificates (preferred)
• An ability to proactively work in a fast-paced environment
• Disciplined attention to detail and accuracy with ability to understand drawings
• Experience in leadership, ability to successfully pass a pre-employment medical and present fit for work
• A current driver license in the country in which you reside
