Job summary

Rainbow Chickens is seeking a Boilermaker to join our Agriculture Division in Worcester, Western Cape. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Traded Boilermaker with strong mechanical and civil experience.

The successful applicant must have supervisory experience to manage a team and be able to work closely with the production team. A valid driver's license (code 8 or 10) and at least 3 years of FMCG maintenance experience are essential.

Rainbow Chickens is looking for a Boilermaker to join our Agriculture Division. We are looking for a qualified or Traded Boilermaker with strong Mechanical and Civil experience to join our team. The successful incumbent should have strong supervisory experience to manage a team and work closely with production team. The role will be based in Worcester, Western Cape.

Required Qualifications

• Traded Boilermaker with strong mechanical and civil experience
• Driver’s license - code 8 or 10 (compulsory)

Required Experience

• Minimum 3 years of post-trade FMCG maintenance experience
• Previous experience on coal boilers - advantage
• Repair of Agriculture related machinery and equipment
• Strong supervisory experience

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Ability to work with a large team of Handyman and assistants
• Ability to communicate on all levels and manage a team
• Ability to work systematically
• Ability to prioritize workload
• Report writing and analysis
• Must be able to work required hours and be available on callouts and standby
• Must be physically fit and be able to work in hot and cold environments
