The program provides hands-on training to fabricate, assemble, install, and repair boilers, tanks, pressure vessels, and related structures, under the guidance of experienced boilermakers.

You will learn to read blueprints, operate cutting, shaping, and welding equipment safely, and perform fitting and bolting tasks.

Qualifications

• Grade 12. Mathematics and Physical Science required.
• Interest in boilermaking and metal fabrication.
• Good physical strength and dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Assist in fabrication and assembly of metal components per specifications.
• Learn to operate cutting, shaping, and welding equipment safely.
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints for boiler and vessel construction.
• Perform fitting, riveting, and bolting for structural assembly.
• Conduct basic maintenance and repairs on fabricated metal products.
• Follow workshop safety regulations and keep a tidy work area.
