Job description

This position is based in Ireland. Repairs damaged vehicle bodies and applies paint finishes to restore vehicles to their pre-accident condition or for customization.

This includes dent removal, panel replacement, frame straightening, sanding, priming, and color matching.

Key Duties
  • Assess vehicle damage and plan repair strategies for bodywork.
  • Perform panel beating, dent removal, panel replacement, and structural repairs.
  • Prepare surfaces for painting (sanding, priming, masking).
  • Mix and apply automotive paints, clear coats, and protective finishes.
  • Color match paint to existing vehicle finish.
  • Inspect finished work for quality and adherence to standards.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Vocational training or apprenticeship in automotive body repair and painting.
  • Proven experience as a body and paint technician.
  • Proficiency with various hand and power tools, welding equipment, and paint spraying equipment.
  • Knowledge of automotive structural repair and painting techniques.
