Board Shop Controller Helderberg

Do you have experience within the Kitchen and Built-in Cupboard Industry or similar? Are you skilled in leading a team, setting up, programming, and operating woodworking machines or similar? If so, we want you to join our team as a Cut & Edge Board Shop Controller based at a reputable retailer in Helderberg, Western Cape.

Key Advantages:

1. Managerial/Supervisory experience is beneficial.
2. Skilled with Cut & Edge machinery, such as Wall Saws and Edgebanders, is highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise a team to ensure efficiency and quality.
2. Operate machinery when necessary.
3. Ensure delivery standards are consistently maintained and enhanced.
4. Maintain and update machinery maintenance files to ensure 100% compliance.
5. Perform regular machine maintenance, including greasing and general upkeep.
6. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the board shop.

Sales and Customer Service:

1. Provide excellent customer service and support sales activities.
2. Create and submit operational activity and sales reports.

Requirements:

1. Relevant experience in Cut & Edge operations or woodworking machinery or similar.
2. Strong organizational and supervisory skills.
3. Strong Admin skills are essential.
4. Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail.
5. Must be willing to work retail hours.
