Placements24 is seeking a Blockchain Platform Engineer to join our client’s team in Sandton. You will design, build and scale robust blockchain infrastructure powering decentralized solutions, focusing on reliability, security and performance across networks.

You will deploy and maintain tools for deploying, monitoring and managing nodes, collaborate with developers, ensure uptime, and explore new blockchain technologies to keep the platform ahead in the crypto space.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer with blockchain focus.
• Deep understanding of blockchain protocols (Ethereum, Hyperledger) and operations.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Scripting skills (Python, Go, Bash) and infrastructure‑as‑code tooling.
• Knowledge of network security for distributed systems.
