Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a motivated Blockchain Developer to join their team in Polokwane. You will design and implement decentralized solutions, smart contracts, and dApps, contributing to innovative projects in the Web3 space.

This role offers exposure to emerging technologies and a collaborative, learning-focused environment in a hybrid work model. You will work with Ethereum-compatible platforms, Binance Smart Chain, and related backends, writing clean, well-documented code in JavaScript,

Qualifications

Experience in blockchain development and smart contract programming.
Familiarity with one or more blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, BSC).
Knowledge of cryptocurrency fundamentals and the Web3 ecosystem.
Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or Go.
Understanding of decentralized application architecture and development.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement smart contracts on various blockchain platforms.
Build and maintain decentralized applications (dApps) and related backend services.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
Integrate blockchain technology with existing systems and third-party services.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall architectural design of blockchain solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to blockchain implementations.
