Placements24 is seeking a Blockchain Engineer with a strong backend focus to join a fully remote engineering team. You will build and maintain core infrastructure powering innovative blockchain products and services, requiring expertise in distributed systems, cryptography, and scalable backend development.

You will design and deploy backend services, optimize blockchain protocols, and contribute to system architecture alongside a global team of experts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of backend software development experience, with at least 2 years in blockchain development.
• Proficiency in Go, Rust, Java, or Python.
• Solid understanding of blockchain architecture, distributed Ledger technology, and cryptographic principles.
• Experience with smart contract development and deployment on Ethereum.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
