Our client is looking for a skilled Blockchain Developer with a specialization in Decentralized Finance (DeFi) integration to join their team in Bloemfontein, Free State. This role is critical for developing and integrating cutting-edge DeFi protocols and smart contracts into their existing blockchain ecosystem. You will play a key part in expanding their offerings in the rapidly growing DeFi space, working with a talented group of engineers. Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and deploy smart contracts for DeFi applications using Solidity or similar languages.
Integrate existing and new DeFi protocols (e.g., lending, borrowing, DEXs) into our client's platform.
Research and evaluate emerging DeFi trends and technologies.
Collaborate with product managers and other developers to define and implement new DeFi features.
Ensure the security, efficiency, and gas optimization of smart contracts.
Monitor and analyze on-chain data to identify opportunities and risks within the DeFi ecosystem.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to DeFi integrations and smart contract functionality.
Contribute to technical documentation and best practices for DeFi development.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
3+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on blockchain and smart contract development.
Demonstrable experience with DeFi protocols, including AMMs, lending platforms, and yield farming.
Proficiency in Solidity and experience with frameworks like Hardhat or Truffle.
