About the Role Our client, a burgeoning analytics firm within the cryptocurrency space, is searching for a talented Blockchain Data Analyst to join their growing team. This role focuses on extracting, cleaning, and analyzing vast amounts of on-chain data to derive actionable insights into market trends, user behavior, and network activity. You will work with cutting-edge tools and techniques to transform raw blockchain data into compelling narratives and visualizations that inform strategic decisions. The ideal candidate possesses a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in data manipulation and visualization tools, and a solid understanding of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies. You will play a key role in helping our client and their partners navigate the complexities of the digital asset landscape. This position is based in the industrial hub of Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal, ZA, offering a hybrid work model that balances collaborative team sessions with the flexibility of remote work.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and process large datasets from various blockchain networks.

• Develop predictive models based on historical blockchain data.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in blockchain technology and data analysis techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis or a related role.

• Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas in Python).

• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and smart contracts.
• Familiarity with on-chain analysis tools and platforms (e.g., Etherscan, Nansen, Dune Analytics) is a plus.
