Job summary

Clicks Group Limited seeks a dedicated Blister Pharmacist for Unicare 24 Hour Pharmacy, Bellville. You will oversee blister packaging services, ensure safe dispensing, and coordinate with retirement villages and private clients, while maintaining regulatory compliance.

The role focuses on preventing drug interactions, leading blister staff, and ensuring timely dispatch of blister packs to meet delivery schedules. A BPharm and 2+ years’ post-Community Service experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) degree required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience post Community Service.
• Experience with Unisolv and LEAP systems (essential); Mediblist advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide high standards of pharmaceutical care and safe dispensing in line with SAPC regulations.
• Manage blister centre operations and ensure timely preparation of blister packs.
• Review prescriptions for drug interactions and contact prescribers to resolve concerns.
• Lead and train blister staff and ensure compliance with SOPs and regulations.
